"Bonzo!" is a lesser-known game written by Randall Lockwood and published by CodeWorks - Cursor for the Commodore PET. The game was released during the early 1980s, a period when the Commodore PET was a popular platform for educational and entertainment software. CodeWorks - Cursor was known for producing games and utilities for the Commodore PET, and "Bonzo!" appears to be one of their titles, though detailed information about the game is scarce.
The gameplay and mechanics of "Bonzo!" are not well-documented, and there is limited information available about its specific features or objectives. Given the era and the platform, it is likely a text-based or simple graphical game, as was common for Commodore PET software at the time. The Commodore PET's hardware limitations would have influenced the design, making it a relatively straightforward game compared to later systems.
Randall Lockwood's involvement in the game's development is noted, but his other works or contributions to the gaming industry are not widely documented. CodeWorks - Cursor's catalog primarily consisted of software for the Commodore PET, and "Bonzo!" remains a niche title with little surviving documentation or recognition in modern retro gaming communities.
